Returns & Exchanges

The jewellery you receive may not be exactly as pictured, as most pieces are handmade and may have some small variation. Similarly, natural gemstones may contain inclusions and small blemishes. We do not consider these to be defects.

 

If you are unhappy with the piece you ordered, we accept returns and exchanges within a 14-day period on regular-priced items only. Items purchased on sale and gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged.

One-on-one exchanges are not always possible due to the limited quantities that our items are produced in. Instead we will issue a voucher that can be used on our store within six months.

A few easy steps for a refund or exchange:

  1. Use our contact form to request a refund or exchange. Don’t forget to include your order number.

  2. Wait for us to email you the postal address to return your item.

  3. Ship the product back to us unworn and in the original pouch. Please ensure you use enough cushioning and a suitable box. Sorry, we are unable to pay for return shipments.

  4. After we receive the item, we will verify that it is in its original condition. We will process your refund if that is what you requested. In case of an exchange, we will issue you a voucher for the value of the item.

In case your item is damaged when you receive it, please email us photos of the damage at sales@salaloamot.com immediately after receiving the item, and we’ll do our best to rectify the situation.

Local & International Shipping

We ship globally, because beautiful jewellery knows no boundaries. Shipping rates will be calculated at checkout. Items shipped internationally may incur taxes at the destination. These will have to be borne by the customer and are not included in the shipping rates.

We offer free shipping in Singapore and Malaysia. Urgent orders may be picked up at our Singapore studio, by prior appointment only. You can choose this option at checkout and we will contact you to set up a time for pick up.

Our gift cards are emailed to the recipient (or the purchaser, if requested). No physical gift cards are shipped.
