Introducing the first Salalo Amot in-house collection....

While Salalo Amot has become known for curating stunning and affordable statement jewellery from artisans around the world, Palemoro is the first collection designed in-house by Salalo Amot founder Saher Latif.

The collection is inspired by palm leaf weaving, a traditional craft that has been practised across much of the world for utilitarian, aesthetic or religious purposes for centuries. Metal weaving is also an ancient craft, but one that is not widely practised any more because of the time and skill required, and rarely seen in mixed metals. Our designs revive an ancient art, but with a very modern and wearable spin.

Produced on the magical island of Bali under ethical working conditions by master craftsmen, the Palemoro collection is an exquisite example of slow, small-batch hand production. Very limited pieces are produced and released, mainly due to the immense time and skill required for each piece.

The Square Earrings are the first earrings to be released in the Palemoro collection, featuring a handwoven square of of sterling silver, 22k yellow gold and 14k rose gold at its centre. The stark square sterling silver frame encasing of the weave makes this an incredibly modern piece.

Size: 15mm x 15mm.
